This isn’t your kid’s TKD class: no uniforms required, no belt factory here – in fact, no belts at all. Our TKD classes are just practical training with stepped-up conditioning and self- defense skills you can actually use. Not only will you be learning skills that can benefit you for life, you’ll also be getting a great workout!
Here’s what a typical class might look like:
- warm up / stretching
- instruction on technique (ie, jab, cross, and thrust kicks
- martial arts drills: intensity increases, callisthenic exercises mixed with technique drills, timed drills/sets.
- self defense: real-life approaches, practicing with partners
- stretch/cool down
Our instructor is great at keeping the workouts fresh and challenging and he recognizes the different levels represented in the class and helps to push each student past their threshold and comfort zone in a safe, fun learning environment. We welcome anyone aged 13 to 73. Great for individuals or for families!
What do you need? Just yourself – no equipment or gear required. Wear workout clothes, plan to sweat, bring a towel and a water bottle. No shoes are worn during class.
This class is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm and the first class is free!
